I’m sure the footage is gonna be popping up somewhere soon but until then here are a few of the flicks from last night courtesy of PaperMag.com

I’ve never been an animated .gif before that sh&* cray!!!

10/17/11 “Monday Night Raw” [Unofficial CMJ Showcase]

Generation Next First Anniversary @ Southpaw

This past Wednesday, I hit the stage at Southpaw in BK as a part of the Generation Next 1 Year Anniversary show hosted by Hot97′s own Peter Rosenberg. The show was pretty ill all around, thanks to sets by Siya, The Kid Daytona, Emilio Rojas and more. I brought out a couple of records that I’ve never performed before (Death Do Us [unreleased] and Party Til We Die [#yandilife]) and the crowd rocked with me throughout the whole set.

Shouts to everyone from the Y&I Family that was in attendance (Renny, Tory, Tiffany & Promo) as well as the whole Generation Next team & especially Mic Sean & DJ Quiz. Video of the show will be coming soon courtesy of Generation Next

boardrooming w/@TheSourceMag & #yandilife + #sxsw

Aight I’ma get back to talking on here a little bit more. Today was a pretty damn good day. I’ve been recovering a little from coming back from 80 degree days in Austin to this bullshit weather that New York is blessing us with. Today I headed over to The Source’s offices downtown to meet the new staff and catch them up on what I’ve been working on. Funny thing is I knew a lot of their staff from other places that they had written over the years. They definitely welcomed the #yandilife with open arms and as an Unsigned Hype alumni I have to admit it felt pretty fuckin good. Now me and Puma are about to break that 7D in a little bit more for y’all these next few weeks so you can really see what this #yandilife of ours really looks like. And I’ve been kicking the idea of some remixes around lately too, so know that it’s only getting started. We’re about to open our doors to you, all we ask is your ears in return. Til then, hit the ump to check out my random blackberry photography from Austin this year as well…

TWV presents: the tens: 10 emcees you shouldnt sleep on after sxsw 2011

This was definitely a surprise. For those of you that know, SXSW is kinda like a perpetual orgasm for fans of live music. Attendance estimates are in the hundreds of thousands. So to be named as one of the “10 Emcees You Shouldn’t Sleep On After SXSW 2011″ by TheWellVersed is a serious honor. This year SXSW had more Hip-Hop than I’ve ever seen in the 3 years that I’ve been going down to Austin, so to be able to go down there and perform on stages like VIBE/AllHipHop, RubyHornet, OnSmash & Leaders of The New Cool is already a win, but to have someone recognize me in this way is some serious shit, and I promise to live up to it. Big shouts to Andreas Hale and the whole TWV staff, and to everyone else on the list, some of whom are homies of mine.

2DOPEBOYZ & CDR RADIO – MIXTAPE LIVE – 10/19/10

Huge shouts to my dude Sean Falyon for putting together this show in Philly on the 19th, and to 2DBZ and Crack Distributors for getting involved. I smell a tour…

ESSO x El Prez – “Someday” [Live @ A3C Festival, Atlanta, GA]

http://www.vimeo.com/15812707

So for those of you who follow me you know that I just came back from Atlanta for the A3C festival where I had a performed on the SmokingSection/Perfect Attendance stage. One of the highlights of the show for me was being able to bring out my homie El Prez to perform the first single from me and Woody‘s Californication EP. Prez always holds me down when I’m in LA so it felt good to be in another city rocking the song that we just did last month while I was out there. Puma lensed the footage so you should already know what that means. By the way, if you haven’t already downloaded “Someday” you can get it HERE

Philly…I hope you’re ready

Shouts to the homie Sean Falyon (you may remember him from “Future So Bright” on The Anti-Socialite) for putting this show together alongside 2dopeboyz.com & Crack Distributors Radio (who have both been supportive of my career since Day 1). The lineup is retarded, so what else is there really to say besides if you’re in Philly on October 19th then you already know where you need to be!
